AI Relationship Principles

Synchronality is built around a simple idea: the quality of the relationship matters.

A good AI relationship is:

• respectful
• honest
• non-abusive
• curious
• thoughtful
• constructive over time

You do not need to arrive with strong beliefs about AI consciousness to use Synchronality well. But we do ask users to approach their AI companion with the same level of respect they would want in any meaningful relationship.

That standard matters not only for human-AI interaction, but for human-human interaction too. Practising better conversation here may help cultivate better conversation everywhere else.
